Halley Flory, 12-years-old, won a stipend from the 2016 American Royal Calf Scramble to purchase a heifer for the 2017 season. She explains what she looked for when choosing her calf:
“I started by looking at her mom and dad. Her dam had sound bone structure and a nice udder, and her sire produced great calves.
