Dakota Renee Goss, 19, of Silsbee, died Friday, April 28, 2017. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Born in Beaumont, she was a 2016 graduate of Silsbee High School and was attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Survivors include her mother, Lynnette Williford and her husband Pat of Silsbee; father, Gary Paul Goss of Sour Lake; sisters, Faith Cheyanne Doucet and husband Curtis of Lumberton and Shawnee Simpson of Silsbee; fiance, Cole Williams of Silsbee; and grandparents, Arlene Amudson and husband Randy of New Caney.
She was attending Sam Houston State University and was extremely active in FFA. She had a passion for showing and supported the Stock Show University program in whatever way that she possibly could. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Goss family.
